Funded Projects
STEPH Activities has been able to support a variety of projects in local schools. Educators have also been gracious in sharing their curriculum to give you ideas of how you can implement these projects! If you'd like to receive the curriculum, please email us!
How it Works - Maple Syrup! A intermediate school classroom was able to learn the process of tapping sugar maple trees, collecting the sap, and cooking it down to make maple syrup. The demonstration also included a taste test with waffles and the finished maple syrup!
Bath Time = Science Time! A 1st grade classroom learned about experiments, creating hypotheses, chemical reactions through creating their own bath bombs!
Watch it GROW! - a local primary school classroom was able to plant and grow their own vegetables. They enjoyed watching the process over the course of a month in their classroom.
STEM Bins - a local primary school class requested magformers, building blocks, and other STEM related building toys. These items were put into bins in the class. Each Friday the class gets additional "STEM Bin" time where their curiousity, imagination and creativity with the items is fostered and celebrated!
